2008-2009 Dance Season Registration Coming Soon!
| COMPETITION & PERFORMANCE DANCE (Age 6-10) |
We are emailing all 5-6 year old and 7-8-9 year old classes to find out if there is any interest in competition and performance dance at Rhythm in Effect Dance Studio. The current competition troupes that we have are average ages 10-11 and 12-13. We are currently in the process of creating our 2008-2009 class schedule. However, before we finalize the schedule, it is necessary for us to know if there is any interest at all in us starting a younger competition troupe. Please reply by email before February 15 if you are interested. Please send emails directly to tymphany@rhythmineffect.com.
Please Note:
Since this would be a younger and new competition troupe, the obligations would not be as involved as our older troupes.
- Class would be one night per week for 2 hours. This class would consist of ballet, tap and competition jazz.
- This troupe would only perform one jazz routine per competition. (We do 3-4 per year.)
- They would perform their competition jazz dance at both recital shows (10:00am show and 2:00pm show).
- They would be able to perform in opening number at both recital shows (10:00am show and 2:00pm show).
- They would still perform their class ballet and class tap dances during the 2:00 show.
- There would be roughly 8 weeks of summer classes (1 class per week). Absences for vacations are permitted.
