Recital fees are due along with March tuition. The cost is $40.00 per dancer. Each additional dancer in the same family is $20.00. Recital fees are used to help pay for auditorium rental, props, scenery, sound and lighting, and student awards, etc. Admission to the recital is free.

One parent per dancer should plan to attend class to receive your dancer’s recital costume, recital information, and observe dance class.

The studio will be closed Monday, April 2 – Saturday, April 7, 2012. Classes will resume on Monday, April 9, 2012. Please remember the studio does not follow all of Charlotte-Mecklenburg School closings. If questionable, call the studio.
Picture Week will be Monday, April 16 – Thursday, April 19, 2012. Photography provided by Blair Phillips Photography. Your costume picture time will correlate with your child’s dance class time.
Miss Tonya’s Monday morning class will take photos Monday, April 16 4:30-4:45PM. Miss Tonya’s Tuesday morning class will take photos Tuesday, April 17 4:45 – 5:00PM. Miss Elizabeth’s Friday morning class will take photos Wednesday, April 18 4:30-4:45PM. Miss Jacqui’s Saturday morning class will take photos on Wednesday, April 18 6:30PM.
Costume photo participation is not mandatory but appreciated for class photos. We will have photo package options and examples located in the lobby one week before picture week. You can check out Blair Phillips website at www.blairphillipsphotography.com.
All dancers need to come fully dressed including costume, make-up applied, and hair styled. We will not wait for dancers to dress at the studio. We are trying to eliminate all unnecessary dressing preparations. All preparations to costumes should be done at home.

We are searching for teacher assistants for the 3-9 year old classes for the upcoming dance season. If you are interested, please contact tymphany@rhythmineffect.com immediately. Teacher Assistants are chosen based on ability level, teacher recommendation, experience/seniority, age, and assertiveness.
Requirements:
- Dancers must be at least 10 years of age.
- Dancers must have a recommendation from previous dance teacher at R in E.
- Photos:
- If anyone is at all interested, please make certain that you have a head shot taken in your dance costume during Costume Photography Week by Blair Phillips Photography. This photo will be used by R in E only and you will not be charged for it. Head shot photos are used for our website and lobby photos.
Benefits of being a TA:
- Your monthly tuition will be credited 10% for being a TA. There will be an add’l 5% taken off monthly tuition to TAs that assists an add’l class.
- Photo will be displayed in the lobby area.
- Photo will be placed on our website under ‘Staff/Teacher Assistants’.
- Recognition at the recital during the award ceremony.
- Opening number participation is optional, not mandatory.
- We will provide you with a teal leotard for your TA attire.

We would like to invite all dancers at R in E and their families to attend our competition troupes’ Showcase Showoff on Sunday, February 12 at 3:45pm at Harris Road Middle School. This will be a dress rehearsal/performance by our competition dancers, which will include all competition solos and group dances. If you are interested in joining our competition troupes next year, this is an excellent opportunity for you to see what it is all about. We hope that you will accept this invitation and come support these girls and their teachers during this competition season.
