UPCOMING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The studio will be closed:

Wednesday November 25 – Saturday, November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Monday, December 21 – Saturday, January, 2 in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Classes will resume a normal schedule Monday, January 4, 2010.

STUDIO APPAREL

Orders have been placed on studio sweat suits and T-shirts. All items will be handed out in class the week of November 30. If you have purchased items to be used as a holiday gift, please call the studio to make other arrangements for pick-up.

NORTH MECKLENBURG CHRISTMAS PARADE

Saturday, December 5, 1:00PM

Our parade float is full. We can no longer accept participants.

All parade participants that are ages 3-6 will be riding on the float and must wear an "R in E" sweat shirt and jeans. All parade participants that are ages 7- up will be dancing the parade route and must wear a “R in E” sweat suit. Only "R in E" attire is permitted in the parade. Detailed information such as entry number, directions, and times will be available the week of November 30. To our parents who have graciously volunteered to walk with our float, you will be given a “R in E” sweatshirt to wear when you arrive at the parade. Please wear jeans and comfortable walking shoes. These sweat shirts will be taken up at the end of the parade route before you leave. Please do not take the sweatshirts home to wash them and return later; we will be responsible for cleaning them.

Parade Fees – There is a parade fee of $10.00/dancer and $5.00 for additional family members. The parade fee helps cover the parade entry fee and our studio float. Parade fees are non-refundable despite weather conditions.
Parade Dancers (7 years and up) All 7-18 year old dancers that have signed up for the parade will be required to attend a parade rehearsal on Sunday, November 15 3:00-4:30PM at the studio. Attendance at this rehearsal is mandatory. Parade Attire – All float riders must wear an “R in E” studio sweatshirt with jeans. Studio sweat shirts can not be taken off during the parade unless the dancer has a long-sleeve or short-sleeve studio t-shirt. Recital t-shirts are not permitted attire for the parade. Toboggans, gloves, and scarves will be allowed on the float. We do ask that dancers layer underneath the sweatshirt so that our studio logo can be seen. Only “R in E” jackets are permitted on the float. All 7-18 year old dancers will be required to wear an “R in E” studio sweat-suit, including sweatshirt and sweat pants. Also available this year is long-sleeve studio t-shirts and short-sleeve fitted t-shirts in case of warm weather on parade day.

PARENT OBSERVATION WEEK

The week of November 16 – 20 will be designated as Parent Observation Week. Dancers are permitted to bring one parent to observe dance class. Important information regarding costumes and recital will be detailed in this particular class. At this time, each parent will be given a measurement sheet with your dancer's measurements and suggested costume size. Parents will have the opportunity to compare your child's measurements to the measurement chart. You will then write the decided size of the costume that you wish to order for your child. The studio will not be responsible for incorrectly sizing. All measurement sheets will be collected at the end of each dance class. Siblings, grandparents, nor friends should come to thisobservation. This time is strictly designated for parents ONLY. Once your measurement sheet is signed and handed to us, no changes will be allowed.
